Gaia (Earth)
Gaia is the third planet from the Sun (Sol) of the Sol system (Old Greek: Γαῖα Gaia). Formerly known as Earth.
One of the three habitable planets of the Sol System. Planet of origin of the Human species.
Due to “the extraterrestrial encounter”, Gaia’s former name was changed as it created confusion in other alien languages. Earth was translated, in most instances, as soil into the target alien language, and thus was prone to confusion.
Almost all instances of Earth has been changed to Gaia after the Gaian-year 2959. This includes its original adjectives and variations, such as earthling becoming Gaian.
